Children's Art Scans

Do you have artwork that you would like to make copies of to send to Grandma or would you just like to have an extra copy of your child’s artwork? 

When you bring your child’s artwork into Ross Imaging Center, our photographic lab technicians use professional DSLR’s cameras to capture your child’s artwork under controlled lighting conditions. 

What does this mean?

Our lab technicians with years of experience bring your children’s artwork into our studio and use Profoto Studio Lighting to digitize the artwork into large files to be able to print reproductions in any size. Art Reproductions require careful attention to detail to ensure that your child’s paintings, drawings, and sketches are digitized properly. And the best part about our art reproduction process is that we do it all at our location at 3000 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT. You wont have to worry about having your kid’s one of a kind piece getting lost in the mail because most of the services we offer we do in our store! After a few days, once we have the artwork digitized we will contact you to come back to our stores to have you view the digitized artwork on the computer screen or from a proof print. How are they priced?

Depending on the size of the artwork if it is larger than 12x18 we would have to photograph it. If the artwork is less than 12x18 we use scanners to digitize the artwork so disregard the factors below. In order to photograph your child's artwork we need to set it up in our studio. This requires a $24.95 set up fee for the first children artwork. Any additional artwork that is brought in at the same time the set up fee is applied to the first piece only.
